In the future I'm going to upgrade my four 12s to eight 12s. With the four I have now the bass rocks the processor inside my head unit so hard that it makes the track switch, the volume adjust, and things like that. It's extremely annoying and I'd like to get it dealt with before I have even more bass running.
What I want is a single DIN head unit. Right now I have the Eclipse 5425 in and it's done me fairly well other than the problem mentioned above. One thing I'd like to stray away from is the winding knobs to change tracks. It's cool and all, but I prefer buttons. I also want 5v pre-outs at least and nothing less. I'd love to get 8v if I could.
