her battery died on her car and she had it replaced... now, the stock HU doesnt work.. she called them and they are trying to charge her $80 for a code... . $80 isnt the issue but the car is paid off and she was NEVER late on a payment so why the hell would they charge her $80 for a simple code? does anyone know the code for a mitsubishi stock unit? thanks...

ya, the radios require diffrent codes so most dealership will charge a hours labor to R&R the headunit for the serial # and enter the code.
