alright...the other day i was driving and hit a nice size hump in the road and my head unit shut off, but came right back on and everything was fine. the next morning it came on and played normal for like 30 seconds but then it shut off, came back on, shut off, came back on, and kept doing this, so i just took the face plate off. later i took it out and notice a ground wire was loose in the wiring harness so i plugged it back it...no help....still is shutting off and coming back on...wtf??? it also does it with a cd in...and my attena isnt coming up when i have the radio on. idk...it is an alpine cda7893...any help/suggestoins...? thnx

if you think its a ground problem try grounding the chassie of the deck,

the ground in the wiring harness was bad...fixed now
