I want a SPL head unit with a DVD screen. I will be using this in street classes so it must have a remote with puase and good output. This is also going to be driven so I need SQ. What is my best choice?

So far Kenwoods seem to be holding up pretty good. I gotta double check on the pause function with Kenwoods though.

Pioneers output durability seems to be a lil iffy (As noted in other threads)

As far as output, Alpine IVAD 901 seems pretty good but, doing sound adjustments seem to be more of a hassle then with other units.

I would guess that Eclipse and panasonic would have pretty good output, but I can't say from firsthand experience.

Also, kenwoods 915 has a pretty good crossover network. (something to consider with the everyday listening criteria you listed)
