Installed my Clarion DRX-9255 today and I'm very impressed. It has a very clean sound and can notice an improvement in SQ over my previous Sony CDX-C90 and Kenwood Excelon KDC-PS909 (Both top-end units). I guess it MAY be psychological, but in my opinion, the source really does make the difference
