Where is the best way to get power from when hooking up a FMod CD changer. (fused and straight to the battery, tap into a fuse in the fuse box, deck wires, what????? Thanx

The best place is to get the constant and switched right behind the radio, you are already there for the antenna, and its nice to keep all the audio on the same circuit, just incase there are problems later.

Just meter to find the constant and switched, and solder the changer wires to them. If you are also going to get the ground there, MAKE SURE that you have true ground by turning on the parking lights while metering the wire, if the ground goes away, you dont have a ground wire, but a dimmer wire, so keep looking

And this won't overload the head unit circuit and blow the fuse since there will be a head unit and changer on the same circuit. Or do I have to up the fuse for the circuit.
