I have had to send my Pioneer P8000r off to have it fixed because the motor burned out that opens and closes the faceplate. If it costs too much to repair my extended coverage will simply refund the cost of the deck as opposed to paying an excessive amount to repair it. What decks(preferably no motorized faceplates) would you all look into? I like all the processing features of the P8000r so that's kinda the lines I'm looking along. However I guess if the deck was a bit cheaper than the P8000r I guess I could use the extra for a preamp and x-overs. Oh well any opinions?

Thanks

Wanna sell that deck? Step down in line and get a non-motorized deck!

You like Pioneer, you like head unit processing, hate to do it to you, but deal with the motorized face and buy the P1R.

The P1r ranks among the best headunits Pioneer has ever made... Get it.
