couple questions......can the 45z be purchased w/amber lighting(to match mitsu eclipse)? second, has anyone had any problems w/the unit? (won't play cdrs?, durability problems?, etc....)

Yes and Yes. It does come available with Amber Illumination
I pulled the one I had out of my car several others out of customer cars because of problems with excessive skipping, failure to eject the CD, and a problems with the remote wire that it would overload if you connected it to more than one amp. I fixed the last one with a relay and was told that Nak has remedied the first two problems in their current production lines. I don't know this for sure as we dropped the Nakamichi line because of these and other reasons.
