A buddy of mine is going to be runing a 2 amp system from an Alpine head unit that has a remote turn on lead and a power antenna lead. Since he doen't have a power antenna could he just run one amp per lead or should he run both amps off of the remote turn on lead? thanks

You need to run both of the amps off of the remote turn on lead. On most decks with both wires, the power antenna wire will only have power when the radio is selected. the amps will turn off when you switch to CD, Changer, or anything else..
