okay, what headunits out there have you guys used that have a real-time spectrum analyzer, so many of the newer sonys aren't, i've had a few eclipse that aren't, along with a kenwood or two... toss out the models of a few decks (old or new) that are in real-time. thanks guys, it's good to be back after 2 years.

well, i'm just kinda curious I guess. I'll be using the stock amp/speakers so sq isn't too big of an issue, neither is preout voltage. my only requirement is a HU with an amber display, and it'd be nice to have the spec. analyzer too, i was lookin at the old sony cdx8850 (not sure if it's real-time), and the new alpine 7894.

the alpine CDA-7894 has a spectrum analyzer? I don't think so, it has L & R level display but no spectrum analyzer. It also dosen't have Amber back lighting. The Source, Band & search buttons only light of amber when you are makeing Bass focus & Time corection changes then it's back to blue.

I think the eclipses do. I use one, and I think one of the options is a spectrum analyzer.
