I have a Nissan Pathfinder with 4 door speakers and 2 tweeters mounted above the dashboard. Do I need to get a certain head unit that has tweeter outputs or is the distribution/crossover in the car's speaker wiring? Any help would be appreciated!

Any headunit should work fine since the tweeters and speakers in the front are probably both eight ohm, in order to make a 4 ohm load which should work fine. If youre not sure though, call a nissan dealership, they should point you in the right direction.
