I have an Alpine IVA-C800 that i just hooked up this weekend. I don't have a manual for the unit. There is a wire that is pink/white, called the "Audio Interrupt Lead" wire, something like that. I have no idea where this wire is connected to. The reason I think its a problem is because the radio works fine, but when I put a cd in, there is no audio, the CD timer is running like the CD is playing so that leads me to believe the actual cd player works but that "audio" wire not being hooked up is affecting the unit. If anybody knows what to do with this wire please let me know...listening to only the radio is KILLING me. Thanks!

Switch the EQ/DIV switch on the bottom of the brain. Problem will be solved.

Thanks, I'll try that when I get off work today. Do you know what the pink/white wire is?

The Audio interrupt lead has nothing to do with it. That wire is for older style cell phones. If the phone rings, that wire gets a signal from the phone base and mutes the radio.

Depending on the car it's installed in, you may need to use the amp remote wiire instead of the power antenna wire. When the FM radio is on, the amps is on, when the CD player activates, the power antenna turns off, thus turning off your factory amp.
