But this used to be in effect and that changed because noone could police who was getting help in the novice classes.

So it was dropped, and also if I remember right there was only 6 novice and 6 pro classes, So you would have to restructer the classes all over again!!!

I personally love the idea of PRO and NOVICE!!!
And I wish it would go back to this because EVERYONE would have to move up to continue!!!!

Thank you, Sir.

While there is no way to completely remove veteran competitors for going for the "easy win", I was in hopes that this proposal would at least curb some of it from happening.

One thing that may help. If Wayne, if he was to add such a feature, could enact a limitation for the "novice" class. With a limit placed on the number of times a competitor could compete in the novice class, each new competitor could only compete under the novice classification for "X" amount of events. Once they reach the limitation, the software would automatically move them into the "expert" class (even if the judge attempts to enter the competitor into the novice class). This would allow new competitors to "try" dB Drag Racing, before making the full pledge to building a world class competition vehicle.

Even if someone was to gain assistance from a veteran competitor, the achievements gained while competing in the novice class would be limited. They would eventually have to move into a higher class (Expert), but would not be required to modify their vehicle when doing so.

Since the novice rules and regulations would be a mirror of the current (aka Expert) rules and regulations, then the judge(s) would not have to "learn" any new rules.

Again, thank you.

how about novice doesn't go to finals, but if they have the loudest certified in that class gets a certificate of recognition? would give little guys something to shoot for, and then the bigger street class goes to finals...(sounds alot like mini street)

I m agree with Crash bandicoot [Mad] !!!!!!!!!!Why to change the class???????????And why to put the extreme 1 with the extreme 2!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the class change every years,it's very useless for the Db drag [Frown]
And why not the seatbelts in the extreme cars too!!!! [Big Grin] [Eek!]

Why should EX cars have seat belts, they are not allowed seats?
