i'd be up for a ss1 class, im kinda scared to go to db drag and be dominated in it, i built my truck for slap but if db drag had that class i'd make sure i'd attend those instead its simple 1 18" vs 2 15" or 2 18" plus 4 more amps i'd have no shot so bring ss1 and i'll be there.

That's what I'll be running regardless...and maybe 4 of those amps if there isn't an amp limit on this class should it become an actual class.

I stated I would like a 1 woofer class but not at the expense of my NW van which is in use unlike my SS 1 car at this time.

So if such a class happened what would the rules be.
Like sub size limits, how many batteries, and how many amps. Also how many conductors to the sub etc. If my stuff would work for such a class I would actually compete.

Would it work out like the normal SS classes or would you think a rule change would be needed. As it sets if by what I'm reading from the class matrix (2 alt's and no other real limits)this would be the perfect class for me right now if it were to happen. Although I would get stomped it would still be fun. [Smile]

If it were SS1 then it would have to have the same limits as the rest of SS.

Otherwise it would be more like SM1.

Then that class would be pretty sweet. [Smile] Maybe it'll happen if enough people want it. I'd put up some money to become a member and go to a few shows then. [Smile]

It should be run like all the other SS classes, unlimited batts, 4 amps max, 2 alts, ect. I think there is alot of interest in the class, lets make it happen.

I'm already a member, but you better believe I would be at every show within a 12 hour drive trying to get loud and collect points for finals.

Where's Wayne, somebody tell him to look at this post.

I thought the orginal purpose for Super Street 1-2NW was to build a steepign stone class from Street to Super Street. That has obviously failed. I would have to say that NW is one of the less popular class being that it costs just as much as 1-2 so I could see it being a good think to drop 1-2nw and add SS1. You have my vote if this happens.

It's a good idea in my opinion.

In 2003 there were a total of 354 certified scores in the USA. (all classes)

In 2004 Wayne added Street A, Street Max 1-2, 3-4 and combined SS 5-8, 9+, Ext 5-8, 9+

The total number of certified scores went up to 545.

Also, from the certified scores this year.

In all of Extreme classes combined there were 54 certified scores this year.

In just Street A,B,C there were 225 certified scores this year. Add Street Max 1-2, 3-4 and the number jumps up to 331 certified scores!

Show promotors and dB Drag need more smaller classes, it just makes good business sense. [Wink]
