This rule point is history now. So is quad allowed now in street class

yes and in theory you could use a quad eighteen in st c with 2 amps per coil!

Not if you read the rules properly Adam [Wink]

Rule 5-4
· A maximum of 4 electrical conductors may be connected to each woofer as long as no other applicable rules are violated.

So even though you could have a QVC 18 and use 8 conductors in Street C, you can only use 4 conductors per woofer.

So quads are useablebut only when wired as DVCs.
