you need to have a medical excuse to have full windshield tinting in iowa and south dakota. otherwise iowa is down to the line and south dakota is down to the lowest object (visor or mirror).

View tint laws here - http://home.pcisys.net/~bpc/auto_law/tint/

You can send me pictures, and I can give you an idea. I can not and will not say if something is legal or illegal based upon pictures.

you can send them to dbsteve@cox-internet.com

i assume its so judges can see whats going on inside your car, while its in the lanes.

steve, lucky you.. we cant have tint on thefront here. instant ticket. my side windows are darker than they should be, but ive only been puleld over once. i explained to the cop about my system ,and he let me roll without a ticket [Smile] but "suggested" that i get lighter tint on the two front sides lol

Ok then what is the difference between street and Extreme dose my concrete grow at the push of a button?? I dont understand.

Having your rear side windows solid is legal here. A judge can look inside a car by opening the door.

So can anyone answer that if my rear windows are triple layered with tint, I wont be able to compete?

rear windows shouldn't be a big deal, you just gotta give them a clear view to the mic is what the rule is about i think, and so they can see if your enclosure moves around

my point was that having the windshield on a "street" vehicle tinted in his state at least is illegal... But whatever if its not happening yet, it soon will "street" class will be trailer queens.
