I see two choices.
1. Clamp meter to power cable and put it record at peak mode. If score is less than 65-80A then everythings is ok.
2. Simply deny to competing (this is bad option)

I'm voting YES! After seeing this class in action i think this is a way to get more newbies to compete.

P.S quite many of these newbies in this thread was competing in FWB last weekend...

You post this like 65-80A would be equal to a fuse. We all know fuses can take much more than their rating for short bursts.

Have you tested how much current you can get via 60A AGU fuse during 30 seconds measuring session if you play this special test track ? http://www.teamkorhonen.com/~dbwarrior/FWB_test_track.wav )

Like i was saying before we have tested these things in real life. So i know what i am telling.

Can you provide the analysis of your test, including the methods used, equipment data, and the conditions in which these test were performed? I am curious to see how your test compare to other known standards. Thank you.

Is THAT a real problem? How hard is is to get a fuse holder? If you don´t have one you just borrow one from someone else.

If we get this FWB really going there will be "official" sponsor for fuses, it's kinda "official", please do remember that this is entry level class...
