Whatever happened to World Finals only being the "Best of the Best" and a battle for the LOUDEST in the World?
I think we are going in the wrong direction.
I would like to see (i know it will never happen)
Change it to North American Finals (you know why) 100 pts required for finals vehicle ONLY top 8 certified per class get invites $1000 entry fee with all or most of it going to prize payout 1st-3rd
Like I said in a previous post, A few of us worked damn hard last year to make s WF invite, here in the UK.
There were a mere 18 shows here, and 2 on 1 weekend for some of them. If you missed that weekend, you would only have 1 more chance.
Yes, yes, I know if we wanted to go to the WF, we could anyway, but that isnt the point.

it just sounds like you two want automatic invites, i say we take a vote... $10,000.00 each, automatic invites, money goes to world finals payout
if you can't do any of that, get your 100 points and get loud... wayne has been more than reasonable to change the rules and give every competitor a chance to participate in world finals.
hmmm wayne posted an idea. i posted my thoughts on that idea. somehow now i am begging for a free invite because i responded to a thread?

After giving it some thought it is not hard to hit 15 events.

but i do like the $10k auto entry fee... lol dont know who would wanna do that.. maybe, bill gates? lol
exactly, and there's no way World Finals could be as big as it is with only the Top 8 certified getting invites. That's not a big enough pool of competitors for all that goes into the event.

not to mention, the best of the best, are still going to be the top 8 and still going to win, regardless of who is there.

your country is as big(if not smaller) than some of our states... but you know in the past wayne has let europeans go to finals without 100 points. besides the prices for shows in cheaper, so now you can put on your own shows and get your points that way...

No, we cant put on our own shows, they still have to be arranged through our country rep.
And show prices are not cheaper here either.
Facts are a wonderful thing when you have some.

Price of entry to an average single in the US? $30? $20?
Price of entry to an average single in the UK? £30 ($50+)
The area/country rep thing is fact, no denying that, we cant host our own shows.

Only in the US/Canada, same as it was before.
dB Drag is "franchised" out all over the world, the franchise owner has control in each respective country/area.
