Refreshed for our new users.

Here's another funny one.
When I was a freshman in college, I was dating this girl who was ... well, her most redeeming qualities weren't her brains. Anyway, this was when police radar detectors were just getting introduced.

We were driving around one day and the radar detector went off. Probably because we were next to a grocery store with the X-band automatic doors. She asks, "What's that?" and points to the radar detector. I say, "It's a cop detector." She seems happy with the answer so I don't explain further.

A few days later, we are eating in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant when a cop walks by. She get's all excited and says, "Why isn't it going off?"

She took me literally when I had told her it was a "cop detector" earlier. Needless to say, I told her all kinds of things after that.

Hey Wayne, she doesn't have a sister in TX does she ?? I dated this one girl.. VERY SIMILAR !! I was supposed to go out on a date with this girl one evening ( a while back) she was over at my house, and we were eating dinner, and received a phone call from another friend ( female) that I had the hots for. This girl wanted to go out as well, on the same night... SOooo.. I told the "ditz" thatI couldn't go out tonight because a friend of mine got into a huge fight at a club, and I needed to go vouch for him. She was a lil bummed, and asked if she could tag along. I told her I would be down at the County lock up, probably all night. She said she'd stay home, and asked me to call her when I was done at county, so we could maybe go out afterwards. So I took this girl home, and came back home, showered, called girl #2 and went out that night.. had a good time too. got back around 2 am, then called the "ditz".. to THIS DAY.. she still thinks I went to county to bail out my friend.. and since then, I have told her many more stories.... LOL she's still a cutie though...

haha

My girl wasn't THAT stupid, but I was trying to explain what we do and what subwoofers were and she said "those are the things that go 'boom boom', right?" I tried to keep from dying lauging as I told her that she was right. Anyway . . .

My girlfriend thought that my radar dectector went off when a cop car was near by, rather than with radar that cops use to check your speed. So basically she was thinking that it should detect all cop cars.. Silly girl

Wayne - you could've played with her head further and said, "It is a cop detector. Obviously, he is a fake cop!"

haha, rims/hub caps. My x-girlfriend couldn't get that either. I tried to explain to her that rims are just pretty metal, wheels are black metal, and hub caps, are cheap plastic that goes over the wheels. She couldn't for the life of her remember that. And if I start talking stereos she just says shhhhhhsh. It gets on my nerves but it's still funny. Of course she's a computer something or other too. Maybe it's a curse them computer nerds.

Yeah Mouse Trap, don't you love the "bass stereotype" older people have. After i put in my first system, my grandma actually sat me down and told me that she didn't want me to come to Thanksgiving dinner if i was in a gang. I told her that not everyone with a system is in a gang and not everyone in a gang has a system (more respectfully than that of course). It seemed to make her feel better, but some of my cousins said that she asked them if i was getting into gangs or drugs or something, so i guess she didn't totally believe me.

If your grandmother doesn't play Bingo ask her if because she is old is she a Bingo Junky.

The funniest old person story I had was about 3 years ago I pulled up to a red light in front of some olds guys house. I had the stereo blasting about a 150db at the time. This old guy 65+ comes running to the side window screaming to turn the radio down. This was just as the song that I was listening to ended. Now their was a pause before the next song. This guy explained to me how he was going to call the cops and report my license plate. Just As he turned his back to walk away the next song began.
This guy jumped. Ran to the back of my truck wrote down the license plate which is not hard to forget (NUTZ). I never did hear from the police but the look on the guys face was classical.
