Ok I hate to bitch, but I just went into work to pick up my check that is supose to be there at 10am every monday morning. Well it was not. We used to get paid every friday night. Well the bosses wife decided she didnt like to do them before we left on friday, so she said she would do them friday night at home and we would have them first thing saturday morning so we could cash them for the weekend. Well that happened about once. Now we are on about the 2nd month of the monday deadline and have recived them like 2 times when we were supose to. It really ****s that a business that has been around for over 8 years and has very loyal employees can not even make an attempt to get the checks out on time so we can pay the bills. Well please let me know that i am not the only one with a lazy boss that cant do checks on time. Oh one other thing when he went to CES we didnt get paid for like 2 weeks because he was not around to sign the checks! Work ****s

Well I can thankfully say I have never had that problem. But I can imagine it ****S to have that happen.

that happened to me almost all of last month(jan). hey but he finally came around and he is letting me host 4 show this summer for dB drag. We are a small shop so 4 is a good number.

Sad thing is, its not illegal. Say if you get payed every friday, they have a week from the end of the pay period to have your check. ex: if u get paid every 2 weeks, they have 14 days from the end of the pay period to pay you. I know its a crappy one, but it is the law.

that's why it's nice to work at a company that has direct deposit! Get your money on a certain day, and pick up your stub whenever.
I've only had one bad experience, and that was when someone forgot to go to the head offie and pick up the pay checks. Of course, I had direct deposit at teh time, so it wasn't that bad.

You are right blue86buick. Its the same here. I love it. I sometimes take a day off now and then and sometimes it falls on a pay day. I dont ihave to worry about that. Also the money is there midnight I dont have to worry about going and dep it and waiting the extra day or so to post. VERY nice.,.

Yep my boss pulls something new every thursday. One day it is the puter down or it;s a new program that seems to over tax our checks, not to mention that I worked 6 hours more this week than last week and made less that;s screwed
