Background : "I have 2 15" Eclipse Aluminums and two 8" (sq) with 2 800a2 and hit in the high to mid 140's" (not going for spl)

A a few months ago I was going somewhere with a few friends and offered a guy in my class ride home since we were going his way. During the entire drive he kept talking about how his friend's 700 watt stereo was WAY louder than my stereo.

Anyhow I just bumped into him and his friend last week. His friend cranked the stereo and I heard this weak distored bass followed by a snap crackle pop. Looked in the guys car... he had a 700 watt Pyramid amp mounted in his glove box w/o a fuse using speaker wire for power/ground and two pyramid 12" in a crooked box held in place with speaker wire... I wouldn't even let him within 5ft of my car....

I generally am a very considerate listener. One think I love to do is just show some people how freaking stupid they are. Like kids with mom and dads car and a few home speakers thrown in there running off a Road Gear amp with the power wire ran in through the door cause they cant find the gromment in the fire wall. You know the type. But seeing these kids at a light...they have their system "bumping" and then I turn mine up and not only totally drown theirs out but shake the mirror in their car so bad they have to readjust it. Thats what I would like to do..lol

That is a good feeling. Don't talk SH*T until you know your system is the SH*T. I have come across a couple of people that thought that their system was awsome until I play mine. It is a good feeling.

I'm gonna talk some **** bout my system, and I can prove it. The locals at my school only have two 10's as the biggest system, so my 15's with bout 800 each should blow them away. The highest score at local comps was like a 152, and that guy had a wall with 8 15's. So I'm set to win locally.

i had a kid who i worked with who was running two tens and a crappy 50 amp, i listened to his, sounded so bad all distorted, factory speakers were all blown, he gets into my car ( i am no dragger but i have xmax12 getting about 600watts), we listen (obviously my car detroyed his sound in anyway) he gets out and says "i think i got little on you don't you think" all i could was laugh. (he played wutang (ithink) i was playing fleetwood mac's silverspring!)

Lol...

We're having a sound-off at my school on tuesday. Just for the he-ll of it -- My plan is to turn off all my subs and drive up with the theme from wonder years playing. A whole lot kids will probaly be luaghing at me. My friends who know what kind of system I have will probably be luaghing harder.... At some point (when they are in the middle of luaghing) I'll flip the switch to turn the sub amps on and bbbbboooooooooooommmmmm...

P.S. I just added 4 12" audiobahn aw1200s bridged down to .66 ohms running off a rockford 50.1

------------------
JVC Kameleon LX3
RockFord 800a2
RockFord 400a4
2 12" ecplise 8812s
Alpine mids and tweets

All in an 86 Corolla...
========================>
Thinking of adding 4 audiobahn aw1200s running of a spare RockFord 50.1 ... What DO YA THINK?

I dont ever really talk aobut my syystem..3rd loudest in my school, and sounds pretty good too. The thing about my school is that all of our systems are in nice looking cars. I still personally laugh at a guy that drives up in a POS bumpin. I dont care if they can do 150, Id rather have what i have in a nice car.

hehe I can relate to the guy playingthe theme from wonder years

I did the same at my school with:

Proclaimers - 500 Miles
Kool and the Gang - Any song
Abba - Dancing Queen
Bob Marley - Jammin'
Gap Band - the "Dropped a Bomb On Me" song

There are more, I had a stupid CD with all that on it, very funny to drown out a neighbouring weak-systemer with Abba
