Ok so I live about ten minutes away from this shop on 8mile in detroit called 313motoring a.k.a. toy's with noise! anyway it's ran by this little arabic guy and they were supposed to put on a show today Saturday 20th. We drive down with three cars ready to do some draggin and we get there around 11:00am thinking we'll be a little late. Well no one is in the parking lot except a few cars that are always on display there and were like whats up with this?
We go in and the little arabic guy tells us that we bring our cars in the back and they will test it for a fee and mail us who the winner is! I nearly went to tears laughing so hard. They have been advertising this for weeks now, I couldn't believe what he said!
I asked what they use and he couldn't even tell me, sad.

I realize that it wasn't a sanctioned show, just a local one.

sounds like that one we went to in ft wayne out by muttons lawnmower sales,they had a dbdrag comp that was on the schedule but we never did get any points for this comp.
