So - last weekend I was preparing for a local competition. Doing some last minute tweeking - you know - remove the seats - take out all the amps, subs, box, wiring, etc. Put in a new box and all the stuff again. All in just a few hours. You know - typical tweeking
Anyway - after fighting for 3 hours to get the old box out, on the way out of the car - it rolled when it shouldnt and - CRACK - there went the faceplate on my Sony CDX-M8815 head unit. Motorized faceplate - non-detachable. yep - pretty bummed about it. It could only happen to me - taking out everything BUT the head unit - and the head unit is the only thing to get damaged. HA HA HA - somedays you just gotta laugh - or else you would cry.

yeah - it still works - everything but the nice display on the faceplate that is. But the radio, cd, cdchanger, etc - all works and it all plays and music comes out. The motorized face still folds up and down - it just broke the LCD crystals and the plastic cover.
