i was driving by the local flee market with my music on not very loud i bet it wouldnt even break a 125.0 well i pull up to the a red light and tryed to talk to these 2 girls

all of a sudden a cop walks out the street screamin at me, was it WORTH IT!!! i turn it down a lil and ask. whats he talking about? he said the ticket your getting in the mail!! wrote down my plate numbers and started to walk away...

i thought for a sec kinda pissed so i yell back as the cop walked away IT WAS WORTH IT NOW!
and cranked it as lound as it could go
its just 4 10's that play mid 140's on music

but it is low and you can feel it!! and so did this cop it made him jump.. wow i have never seen a cop so mad befor lol

he makes me pull out of the street and sit there for 30 mins while he yells at me and trys to write me 2 tickets now... well his supervisor told him i could only get one ticket as i laugh and tell him that the ticket means nothing to me. i swear this cops head was going to go blow up

i just thought it was funny this cop tryin to mess with me and i got the best of him he was so mad i think hes gona go home and kick his dog

Here's a story for ya! This is way back in the day. Gene and I used to work for this stereo shop back in the day called Ultimate Touch. The guy that owned the shop gave me this car to drive, because I didn't have one at the time. It was a chevy sprint (a tiny little car that looks like a panda or a yugo almost). The only problem was the title was in another guys name (who was in prison at the time, so he couldn't get the title until that guy got out). Anyway, to make an even longer story shorter, I built a wall in this thing for 4 Radio Shack 18" woofers. I know Radio Shack, but it BANGGGGG! Most people couldn't even sit in it.
So here's the story. I pull up to this high school right around the time everybody is getting out, and I just let it rip. They loved it. But see what had happened was. This cop came prying through the croud of people, and appeared in my window. Needless to say, I got a ticket and they towed away the vehicle (Mainly because it wasn't in my name, and I was still rolling the other guys tags [not good right]. Well I was young not really using my head.
I don't even know if you'd want to hear my story about how I tried to get the my equipment out of the car at tow yard, but you can only imagine.

So let me tell you how I tried to get my stuff back. Well first of all the car was never impounded, it was just taken to a towe yard until the owner came and claimed it. The towe yard was surrounded by a 12ft fence and they had two big guard dogs, so it was going to be pretty rough to sneak in there and disconnect some stuff. Well since the people wouldn't let me near the car I chose to go at night and try to get my stuff.
I had some serious money wrapped up in that car, so I was ready to do whatever to get it back. At one point I thought I might shoot the dogs, but I was never that cruel (plus I couldn't find anyone with a gun). So I took a baseball bat and went the back through the woods. By the time I got close to the fence the dogs were already charging from across the yard. They had a straight shot from the front of the towe yard to where I was. I had to think quick, because if I didn't jump that fence right then I would land right in the mouth of the dogs. So I climbed up and jumped down the other side with my bat in the air. The dogs stopped and were just barking and growling at me. I didn't know what to do, so I charged at the dogs (good thing they weren't that vicious). The dogs actually turned and ran away from me.
I made it to the car just to find that someone already took my US Amps out of the hatch, and they tried to take my speakers out but couldn't. The problem was neither could I. So all I was able to get was my Hifonics pluto EQ and my giant Die hard battery from behind the drivers seat. It was a huge risk for what I came out with, but at least I got that!

I don't understand why people get mad over our stereos but it is ok for muscle cars and harleys and high powerd bikes to be as loud as they want at 3am.

OK. I dont know how things (laws) are in USA...but here..that cop stopped me for the loud music...and give me a ticket..I will take it to the court and ask a judge...JUST HOW HE (cop) did measure that the music was loud?? music in the most cases isnt loud but just boomy, or low tones that U can feel it....car horn is louder than that...because horns arehm"screaming" and U must protect your ears...but from low bass u dont have to...so WTF?? and once again...i believe he (cop) could not recognize the level of noise in your car....so he couldnt write U a ticket...it is like this: U are driving your car in first gear...full throttle...car is going around 30-40 mp/h...but the noise of engine is preety loud....and what now?? will he came to you write a ticket for speeding?? altough U were driving double beneath speed limit?? **** that... IMHO

I worked at a custom shop in a 'light industrial park' in Florida. We were at that location for about a year until we were notified that our zoning was incorrect for the amount of noise we were making. Was a nice joint too, had AC!

this shop is located in a commercial location and specializes in custom enclosures so there is testing that has to be done to accomplish that task,. I agree that to infringe on another persons freedom is wrong but to infringe on the right of a shop to make a living is wrong....I was going to sit there in the next lot and wait for them to come back with their hand held meter and dispute the validity of their meter with the termpro meter but figured that would wind me up in jail and that would be an infringement on my freedom and thought again.....Louis showed me the statute that said any noise over 80 or 90 db was against the law. I see over 100 db in my car with the doors shut and the windows up. someone has to do something to stop this bulllshiit. I just wish i didnt hate jail so much i might take a stand against them.

i like my shop, m4 zoning. i can go all night if i wanted to but i try to quit testing around 9 or so. its just funny cuz i have had people call the police to complain at like 4 in the afternoon, the cop comes, i pull the zoning and then he asks to see what was so loud.
