Ok check this out and tell me what you think........I got back from a eight month deployment in the Gulf on the 23rd of last month, that whole time while I was gone my new system was being built. The very first day I was home me and my roommate finished up what was left and then took it out to a abandon parking lot to meter test it. I did two burbs wasn't really hitting good numbers and kept tweaking when all of a sudden smoke started pouring out of one of my ports. Damn Voltage Drop and fried it. So we got that fixed and upgraded somethings all is good now I think. About a week later I am driving around and I start smelling this burning smell and I was like WTF then smoke starts pouring out of my dash and gauges start flipping out my voltage gauge was pegged out at like 19v and all kinds of wierd things. I get home and all seemed to calm down, I thought that it was my voltage regulator I bought the day prior, so I unhooked it on the way home. I go back outside about two hours later try to start my truck and it wouldn't start a friend of mine noticed that gas pouring out from under my truck......WTF.....come to find out my power wire running from the engine comp to the bed of my truck came loose from under my truck and wrapped around my drive shaft and grounded out my entire truck and it got so hot it melted the copper fuel line. And if you were wondering yes my truck did catch fire twice, nothing big but hey you all know flames plus leaking gas not a good combo but luck was on my side as fas as that goes. Well on Saturday the 23rd June note the 23rd exactly one month after I fried my first 18 I was sampling the system for someone when one of my speaker wires got pinched some how and all or a sudden......BOOM......one more 18 gone. This is 2 in one month......I am never playing my system on the 23rd of any month again. All I can say is Thank God for SPAIR's and Thank God for fire extinguishers. Anyways thought you all might find this entertaining...........
