last year while i was installing a 2 MTX 9500 12" in the trunk of a 2000 pontiac sunfire i dropped the magnet of one on my pinkie finger, right on the nail....my pinkie was sqooshed on the edge of a sheet of mdf used to prop up the magnet....
It only dropped about 1 or 2 inches but i lost my nail for 1 to 2 months

you think thats funny, i bought an mtx online off ebay a few months ago...it arrived already blown.
what the hell i wanted to have the fun in doing that, then i just got the claim resolved...they denied it.
they said "" Based on our definition of significantly not-as-described, this claim does not qualify for a refund. We found the seller to have accurately represented the item(s) in question.""
i was like huh? he said this" It is in GREAT condition there is aboslutely nothing wrong with this product"

I was on decline bench and my right shoulder went out on me. Had 315 on my chest & throat for a few seconds until my spotter could help out.
Elbow popped during dumbbell press and my 110 in my right arm dropped on my chest, then the left one followed. Got up & dusted off. Popped my elbow back in and went to the Hell Room (Cardio).
Not that it's audio related, but hope that makes you feel better or at least know that someone else shares yer pain
