lol, I was spraying some contact on this tiny piece of wood so I could carpet it. In the bay we use gravity fed paint guns for most of our adhesive aplacations.... anyways, Here I am standing over the fab table, spraying away, when "WOOOSH" the resivor blows off the gun (I am not sure why yet, I am sure the twist latching system was good and tight, cause I just filled it, when I get back to work tonight to do labor the bays invoices, I will see for sure) again... anyways, I hear this noise and feel the gun kick, so with out thinging i look down (this all happens in about a 1/2 a seconds time) and the resivor is falling towards the table and I seen the glue blowing out.... that was ok, it was what covered me from about me belt line to my upper chest area (including both arms)... but when the resivor hit the table, it threw glue up about 2 feet, throwing contact from about my upper chest up and over my head. At this point I know I'm in trouble.....
Both hands are covered, both arms, the front of my neck, about half my chest (where it was running down my collar) and basicly covering my entire face. ****'s in One eye (glued shut won't open with in about 1 minuet) ect.ect..ect...and the worst part as the burning.... WOW, that little sting in my left eye was nothing to my entire upper half BURNING like it was on fire from the chemical soaking into the uncalised parts of my body.....OUCHIEEEEE...
so here I sit.... waiting for a co worker to pick me up and take me back to work.... no hair on one arm, very little on the other, no facial hair, no eye brows, very very short eye lashes, and a head thats gonna have to get bic shaved tonight....
I guess the funniest part, I imediatly took off my shirt (flipping it inside out) and wiped the bulk of the contact off my face and then off my arms.... then ran with one eye 1/2 open into the retail install side of the building, to my tool box, grabed a hand full of "promo" t-shirts, and all the guys are looking at me and I say, "can I get a little help here"..... I think they were all in shock....it was funny....or At least I found it funny, that they were all kinda like dumb founded, by there supervisor and coworker looking like he just took a bath in contact cement....lol.... wow, I will never hear the end of this one....

kinda reminds me of the time I decided to work with roll on bed liner and knew how hard it was to get off of skin so what do i do? I put it on with no gloves.
then I remember that after I get it all over my hands that I do not have xylene to remove it so I run inside and without thinking (prolly from the 95+ degrees it was outside) and proceed to pour a LOT of paint thinner on my hands and rub HARD. OMG did that EVER BURN!
then 2 weeks later my exhaust started to leak so I got underneath my old truck and patched it with this metal liquid solution and as soon as I remove my protective glasses it drops right in my eye... so there I am under a truck cursing at 10am because I have what is basically metal shavings in my eye mixed with glue.
but even after going thru that and many other mishaps with glues and stuff... I still read how much glue you got covered with and cringe at the thought of that much hitting my whole body!!! OUCH man!

LMAO!!!!! oh dude, I almost feel bad about laughing as I read that. LOL I had a primer gun do that to me once....well to make you feel better here are some of my stupid things.....
brad nailed a speakerbox to my saw table.....then pulled it off, & promptly brad nailed the same speaker box to my finger.....
breaking loose a crankshaft bolt on a honda, breaker bar broke....& came up & hit me right in the middle of my forehead, I promp tly fell on my azz, & rotated my tail bone.....
asked a freind to toss me the staplegun....well he did, like a fast ball...end result, stapled my forehead (yeah just about the same spot the breaker bar hit)
beating on a driveshaft, changing U-joints....hit driver with hammer, driver flies off, driver hits my nose, every1 around me starts laughing, as I start crying because my eyes got so wattery....
& lastly, pulling for all I am worth on a 1/2 drive ratchet (I forget on what)...it slips off, & I hit myself right on the nose, & knock myself senceless...don't think I have really ever recovered.....
OK, 1 last one......we were out 4 wheelin, my old Ford 3/4 ton broke down (broken spider gears), so pissed off, I bite into a Payday candy bar, & promptly break off my front tooth. 3 days later, we make it out of the woods, & my upper lip is 3X it's normal size, the dentist, just gives me antibiotics & tells me to go home, because I didn't pass the credit check for him to fix the tooth!!!!!

i got one i was installing 2-18''s in a cavi with a friend and he was having some trouble getting the spray foam to work and before i could stop him he pushed a wood screw into the top of can when he pulled it out it covered him with spray foam to the face that stuff is worse than glue it glued is eye shut and he freaks outs cause he dont think his eye will open and uses he hand to pull his eyelids apart tore out over half his lashes spray foam dont come off easily also got in his hair and on side of the car .but after it was over it was a great laugh id loved to have had this moment on video i bet it would have got a million hits on the tube lol

When I used to work at CC we had these 2 16 year old girls come in for a new deck and 4 speakers. They were the only customers and then there was me and 2 others. While I was doing the install, the girls walked over to the mall to go shopping or something. Well on their way back it had poured down rain. They came into the shop and were soaked and they were both really good looking. I still had about 20 minutes left on the install and they wanted to change into dry clothes that they had in the trunk. So they get their clothes out of the trunk and proceed to change right there in the shop. My boss starts to freak and tells them to go to the bathroom to finish changing. So they go into the bathroom and no less than 2 minutes later, one of the girls comes running out bare naked except for paper towels wrapped around her and she runs around the shop. Man, these girls were hot too. Then the other girl comes ount in a bra and panties and said she left her dry panties in the trunk but had no dry bra so she takes of her wet undies right there in front of us and then puts on her dry panties and a t-shirt. After they both get somewhat changed again, I let them sit in the car and watch me finish the install. Needless to say that The remaining 5 minutes of the install actually took me about 30 minutes. The girls invited me and one of the other guys to come down to the shore with them but they didnt want the boss to come. I wanted to go but I had a few hours left on my shift and they didnt want to wait. I think they were just teasing but it was worth it.
