Aeons ago I was home from college and had a hankering for Labyrinth or Lady Hawke, so I walked up to the cashier at the local video store and asked her, "Where is your fantasy section?"
She proceeds to walk out from behind the front desk with a set of keys and walks over to a locked door. Opens it up, turns on the light and points towards the land of XXX rated flix. I turned to her and thanked her, but then said, "Not that kind of fantasy, but films like Labyrinth with David Bowie or Lady Hawke with Rutger Hauer...."
I've never seen someone turn 14 shades of red in less than 10 seconds before in my life. I can only imagine my parents' faces had I returned home with Apollo 69 or Saving Ryan's Privates instead of Lady Hawke or Labyrinth.
Oh well.....not like I was offended, but was just funny. Not a recent event, but one of those things about reflecting back on when my parents were together, I remembered that little gem and thought y'all could enjoy the laugh.
