Definately rookies. If your gonna steal something, might as well go all out, ya know. That would piss me off more then anything. Break in and just take the cheap CD Player, they obviously dont know their car audio brands and price of the US Amp. [Big Grin] Be happy it was just that and not the whole vehical. $300 tops for a window and alarm.

Also watch some of your friends, see if any of them seem to be distant from you or act weird when your around. Just a tip.

man that sucks. a couple days ago i was thinking about stealing this guys stuff, b/c he was stupid as hell, but i didn't, b/c i respect people (yes, even the stupid ones). this guy comes driving up to the mall with his system blaring, you can hear him from halfway across the parking lot. he's got his windows down and everything. he gets out and goes in and leaves his windows down on his crappy Isuzu SUV. i'm walking past and he's got a kicker kx1200.1 sitting on top of a S15L7 in a ported box. just sitting in the backseat. there wasn't anybody around or anything, he just leaves it there. and he parks right by the doors too, so that everybody that walks out of the mall at that exit can see that he's got some free money sitting right on his backseat with the window down and everything. but once again though, just for clarification: I DIDN'T STEAL IT. lol. later ya'll.

Yah but it's still stupid to even think about it. You're representing the hobby/sport and this board quite nicely, I must say.

Not to cool to even think that way.

Where I live now I have left my windows down when going into a store or even in front of the House and its kinda nice not having to worry about getting jacked (There are more Vandals out here then thieves)

It's alot different then where I used to live (Bay Area) where on Friday while I was at my Friends house (That he just sold to move out by me) at 2:30PM someone took his stereo right out of his truck. [Eek!] We were right inside his friggin' house!

It sucks that people just can't earn what they have instead of Jacking the World. What goes around comes around. [Cool]

so two nights ago, my best bud crashed at my house cuz the storms knocked out his power, and while we're in the house studying for exams, someone comes by and totally cleans his car out of all his stereo equipment. We came out in the morning to go to school....and it was all gone. This looked almost professional. The lock was cleanly punched in, the dash wasnt even disassembled, and they clean cut all the wires and unscrewed all the amps. Now, we're in high school, and we both put alot of our time and money into this system, and to have it jacked like this right in front of my house is not cool. If anyone in the dayton, ohio area hears anything, let me know, here's a list of wht was stolen, i can get specific model numbers if needed

Kenwood MP3 flipface cd player
Sony Xplod 444w
Sony Xplod (dont remember the name but its the one with the high current/high voltage switch to make it stable at lower impedence levels, it was an awesome amp)
12 inch Kicker Comp VR in a Q-Logic box
and an assortment of wires, etc

They even stole 1 neon, not sure why, theres like 8 tubes in the car tht they couldve taken.

If anyone has any advice or hears anything, please let me know, thanks

System in the car...99 Escort ZX2

I lived in Huber Hieghts. I know about these theives in Dayton. chances are, your stuff is somewhere in the vicinity of Drexel.(yes Iknow it's a bad place, but that is where most of the criminals there live and conduct there business) My father had his van and everything stolen out of it several times. The van was found in a Drexel drug store parking lot every time . He was a construction worker, owned his own business. He had just about everything from Craftsman-Dewalt, STOLEN! The total price of all of the tools stolen from each crime was around $50,000. We got a tip on one of his drills a few years ago that was found in Detroit.

Go do some searching in pawn shops in Drexel. You might find something? I hope this helps you out?

I leave my windows down all the time when I go into places. Everything I have is bolted down so tight it would take at least 15 minutes to just get my cap lol. So I like to tempt people who enjoy stealing others stuff, let them try & fumble with it for a few minutes & hopefully get caught.

I would only wish being jacked to my worst enemies, who in fact are the people who jacked mine and other people's stuff, so they deserve it. The government should have laws specifically targeting car electronics theives. it is becoming way too big of a problem. Being a victim Ican say that we don't have the rights that we should have. The main person who stole my system also beat up two other people and instigated the assault of my mom, and got out of jail exactly 6 months to the day after my stuff was stolen.

We are having the second part of the trial in a few weeks, and he opted for a jury trial, even after he admtted to 4 police officers that he did it, he is trying to use up as much money as possible before they throw the book at him.

I am thinking about becoming a police officer, by the time I get through the training and such, he should be just getting out, he'll **** his pants the first time he sees me behind the wheel of a cruiser.

My car got stolen last year I got it back the next day. They stole the CD player and made a mess of the dash without the face, the splits without the Xover and wreck my boot(trunk) to find out I didn't have and amps all subs. The repair cost were more than the stuff stolen.
