ok, so i'm at school, telling all my friends about my new sub purchase of 2 18" pyramid subs(pretty crappy, but they were amazed) but anyway, out of the 10 ppl that i talked to about it(i was so proud i had to talk to everybody i could about it/small school btw) but EVERYBODY i'm not saying almost everybody, i'm saying everybody asked me how it sounded. my response was, "well, i'm not sure, i don't have a box for them yet" and every single person replied with "you don't need a box for subs. just throw them in your trunk and take the wires off your 6x9s and wire them to your subs." omg, i tried explaining to them that they weren't free-air subs and they had to have a box, but they just couldn't understand. i pray that someday one of my friends tries to put a system in one of their cars so that i can take pics of it and post it on the "funniest install ever" post. i just really wish people knew what they were talking about when they started talking. oh well. just thought that might be kinda interesting for ya'll. laughing at the stupidity of "non-car-audio-fanatics"(sorry, can't think of a better term). oh well, i'm out, later ya'll.

rofl, a friend of mine had the same hard headed attitude..he had 4 10" jl audio w0's in his trunk just laying there all wired up...when he played emm all you could here is rattle and ugly distorted bass....he thought he was the SH*t with his ugly sounding car..dont get me wrong, the thing was pretty loud lol....too bad he got jacked during a football game

well, not quite topeka, more the suburbs. it's silver lake HS that i go to though. in case that helps you any. nobody here has any idea what they're talking about, and if anybody offers to install a system for you and they say they're from silver lake (like that's actually ever going to happen...) don't listen to them unless they're name is zack. lol
