ok i have a correction to make for a reply to a post that i had made around here it is a criminal offence for a noise ordanance violation which could be a 30 day jail sentence and up to a 500 dollar fine, i will let you know more about it on monday after i get out of court for it, and i will know more about a harassment lawsuit against the police department by next friday

i will tell you how bad they are harassing my by telling you that there can be 20 plus cars parked or moving and if they hear a stereo they will stop me before they will stop anyone else and they will fallow me from one end of town to the other making every turn i make and right now i'm tired of it so i'm going to put a stop to it

what city do you live in,we will come over to your town and cruise around and see if the police can hear my car,and then they can tell me what their noise ordinace consist of and if it is legal,

hey rbdbdrag i will tell you i live in defiance which i believe you know where it is. it seems like every time there is a stereo shop here in town that they become real pricks about stereos, they last shop was mike (a.k.a shock) i know the town doesn't want a shop in town, if they start cracking on us for loud stereos then why don't they crack down on loud exhausts or motor cycles on of my neibors has a v6 on his bike and when he takes off from down the road you can hear it which is almost 1/4 of a mile away
and the 4th offence they can take your stereo as evidence for the court

just curious on how you got your numbers....2 mismatched 15's, 3 amps of some sort (under 2000 watts total power)
155db plus old mic 149db new mic?
are you just guessing your numbers or what because it would take a hell of alot more than 2000 watts to hit 149 on the new termlab mic......and you dont even know what kind of amps you have?
again, just wondering.

Last night I got a sound ord ticket and it is 25 dollars. The thing is the system wasnt even turned up, it was at a normal listening level where I could still talk on my cell phone. Anyway I was sitting in traffic and a biker cop pulls me over and Im like ok whatever and he was way cool and told me that he pulled me over for a "soundtruck" and that he didnt actually hear my system but another cop did. Anyway the other cop comes and is the biggest ass asking me if I know the law and if the place were I got my stuff told me the law. I told him I already know the law and my stereo wasnt up. Then he tries telling me my tint is too dark when it is well in the legal limits. I mean I know they are just trying to do their jobs and all but they shouldnt be asses about it and harass teenager and try an squeeze every possible offence off of every person. Oh and then he told me my seatbelt wasnt on when I just took it off to grab my registration out of the glove box. Anyway I gotta go to court in a week for it, maybe I should tell the judge that my sub blew up anf if that will count as a "fix it" and if he would let the ticket go.
