kinda a delayed reponse. but b run what town do you live in... I seen indiana. same here. Problem is with most small towns they create laws and they are violating others in the process and don't realize it. They can not take your equipment. It isn't a felony to own a stereo. If they ever tried that crap with me I would have the town board bankrupt. My family wants me to move to bedford (a small indiana town) I was like you are out of your mind

I got all three of my tickets dismissed i told the judge that if he gave me a ticket than he would have to give the ice cream truck a ticket every day.Than i told him that i just turn it up when there are harley's buy me to make there exhaust noise go away. Then i told him to have the cop prove it was my stereo that was making noise pollution. Now they just ask me to turn it down a little no more tickets at all.

i graduated from mcbee high in 01, the town cop there was a real jerk, he spent the whole year i was a senior trying to catch me jammin so he could write me a ticket, i was well known for the 95 s-10 i had with 4 memphis hp 12's and 2 1000d's, so i graduate in may of 01 and get around this jerk, i went back to the high school later in 01 when school was back in to pick up the girl i was dating one friday afternoon, we were 2 blocks from town hall and decided to turn it up, i get to the other end of town and see blue lights behind me, this cop tells me he heard me from inside his office and that i was shaking the windows in town hall and he knew it was me even though he didn't see me, i believe i could have fought it and won in court, but he had charged me something like $400 and they called me told me to bring them 100 cash and they'd drop it, so i just took them the 100 and forgot about it, they took my 100 and ticket and didn't give me a recipt but everyone knows how that works in most small towns, i have been lucky, that's my only one so far

Whats wrong with listening to loud music? I love it! to me it's a way of life. I drive to skool with heavy bass. Yeah the securitys tell me something when i'm at school. But when i'm at home my stuff can be heard around the block cause that DX700 ain't no joke! My neighbors windows actually viderate cause i went over and checked them. for one 12 inch speaker it hits!
I just don't like cops ):

I believe it was Rockford IL or somewhere in that area where they passed an ordinance saying they can impound your car if they hear it from so many feet away. In my city, in WI, we were told 3 times and your car's impounded.

Haha! Almost everyday i get complain from peoples. They hate my stereo. I have been stop 3 times by police to keep the noise down. I try playing stereos at the parking lots and they can still hear my stereo and they call police again. I was driving down at hill pounding hard music and this dude look at me and said, "WTF." then drove of quickly. Just to let you all know when you got some much bass. It pisses peoples off.

I have no idea what you just said. That was the worlds longest run-on sentence. At least I don't have to worry about getting a ticket with my ghetto system... two AR 12's from 1986 and a JBL GTO7001 in a particleboard box, LOL.

HOLY CRAP I just realized how old I am... I registered on this freaking forum 10 YEARS ago!!! and I'm only 25, hah. Sad thing is I was only in the industry (professionally) for 1 year & 1/2 and only had a system for about 2 years. Man i hate being a broke basshead.

Huh?
I've never seen anything like that and I have been working in the industry for a while now.
I have worked in the industry in Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland and not seen anything like this...
I've been pulled over for being too loud before, they didn't do anything but give me a warning though Posts: 372 | From: Western Australia | Registered: Aug 2004
