The other day i got out the old legacy 600 watt amp cause i had nuthin to do and i hooked it up to my car with 4 gauge and hooked one vr 15 bridged at 1 ohm to it ........... lol it wouldnt even stay on for 10 solid seconds before it would either A. blow a fuse or B. Protection LED would come on. It gave it a good amount of power while it was on. It was hilarious how hot the amp was!lol [Smile]

i love to fiddle with useless stuff like that

i hooked up my old Jensen coax's to a wall the other day and they went BRHMMM, POP! didnt last but about 1 second

i hooked up one of my friends rockfords (5 yrs old) that had a torn surround all the way around and a ripping spider

i gave it 4 good 2 second spurts of the wall and then it was over, i was suprised it lasted about 7 seconds or so

Yeah, I hooked up one of the stock speakers from my car to my JBL 1200.1, and fed it bass mechanic lines for about a minute. the leads both cooked, the spider ripped to shreds, but surprisingly the VC was fine... I guess it's true what they say about having your gains set correctly [Wink]
