I was working in the shop a few months ago and had laid my bradnailer on my table saw. I turned around to do something and saw my bradnailer falling off the saw (my dog had accidentally knocked it off. Since it's a cheaper gun it doesn't have a safety so when it hit the floor it went off. I felt the nail hit the back of my leg and was like WOW that hurt. Not thinking any more about it continued to work for another 12-20mins until I noticed that there were wet spots on the floor. I looked around to see where the water was coming from and noticed that my shoe was wet from blood. Not only did the nail hit me it went into my leg far enough that when I first looked I didn't see it. it had stapled my jeans to my leg so I ended up having to cut them up to were the nail was sticking into my leg. It was only sticking out about 1/16" of an inch so I had to use a pair of bent needle nose pliers to pull it out. Once the nail was out my leg bleed even more. I finally was able to stop the bleeding and then scheduled an app the for the next day to get a tetanus shot all because I felt bad leaving my dog inside!
I'd have a doctor look at the wound too. Don't know how long the nail was or how deep it went into your leg (or where exactly) but to be safe, I'd have it checked out. Want to make sure all the muscles it punctured heal correctly w/o potential problems.

LMAO! now ive never ben shot w/ a nail gun b4, but im thinkin my reaction would included alot more cussing, a thown nail gun, a broken window, a shot dog, and about 3 more cops than jus "wow that hurt"
