I've dealt with a LOT of cool cops like that. I was coming back from California one year (long time ago) and the stretch of road was so long and straight, and EMPTY that I figured I'd open it up and see how fast I could go. Well, I looked in my rear view and see this tiny little speck of something catching up (I was doing well over 100 at this point) so I figured it was either a Vette, Ferrari, Porsche, or some other real fast car to be gaining on me. Eventually it gets a little closer and I can see it's a Mustang 5.0 Highway Patrol car, so I start to slow down. He gets right behind me and just stays there for quite a while (I was still doing around 80), so I slow down a little more, and change to the right lane so he can PASS if he wanted to. Just then he kicks the lights on and pulls me over. He asked me if I knew why I was being pulled over, and I was being honest and said "because I was hauling ass", and he said "yes, do you know how fast you were going", so I said "no sir, the speedometer only goes to 110 and I had that pegged a while back". He then says to me "when I first clocked you, you were doing approximately 140mph. I just said WOW (it was impressive to have been going that fast, because I never thought the car would do it). He then said he stayed behind me for so long to give me a chance to slow down to a respectable speed before he pulled me over. He said that he was supposed to arrest me for breaking 100mph in a 55 zone (I thought it was a 65 zone, but I guess that ran out long before). He ended up writing me a ticket for 68 in a 55 zone, which was greatly appreciated. That guy was one of the coolest cops I've ever met. I think he just enjoyed the chase more than anything, since he couldn't have been much older than I was at the time (I was 18 or 19 and he couldn't have been more than 21 I'd guess). Saved me some jail time, and a lot of money.
I also used to get pulled over pretty often on my motorcycle, just because the cops wanted to take a look at it. I did however get quite a few tickets on it too (no license, no insurance, etc..).
Many other stories I could tell, but not enough time or space here. lol
Remember, respect the law, and those that enforce it. They're there for a reason! Plus I have quite a few friends that are cops. heheh

There are some alright cops, but there can be a few that are dicks. I personally bought my first stereo(what i have now) for the car off a cop. There was one day about 2 weeks ago i was drivin around, and ended up gettin pulled over for havin the music too loud. Turns out it was the cop that sold it to me (whos the brother of one of my good friends) who just wanted to give me a lil scare cuz he was bored. Damn small town cops LOL

Yuuuuuuuup! heh, but there are SOME cool coppers out there. The other day at my work This cop was waiting at the counter, and this buhdist dood or something, (he had this brillianty orange robe, with sandals, and a bald scalp) Walks up and holds up a big black book and says to the big black cop, "Do you know how you can solve all of the gang problems?" To which the cop replies, "Yeah...... You shoot 'em all." The buhdist dood just turned around and walked out. Heh... I was laughing for awhile.

Damn, im glad your not my friend. Hell if you hung around me or any of my friends youd probably get stomped for talking sh** on someone periode. You know whut they say, snitch is a dying breed'.
I had a cop come nocking about a week ago, we had about 20 people over playing xbox, drinking, partying, I learned from previous experences you dont let cops into your house. So I opened my door, walked out and shut it behind me. He was cool and all just telling me he got a noise complaint and I needed to kep it down, then asked if i hd been smoking marijuana, told him no, he then told me that the peopl that live accross the stress has reported that they can see us smoking pot through our windows at nihgt. Im sitting there going 'wtf' and freakin out. Chances are someone saw the cop nd let us know before he nocked so everything was cleaned up. In the end he told me he could smell a little bit of marijuana but he wasnt their to get anyone in trouble, he jut wanted to go in an tell everyone to be quite. He did and told me hed have toi note that the 2nd time theyve smelt marijuana on the premisis, and he went on his way.
Whut id lik to know is, when was the first time? No one told me....

Well I got caught pulled over doing 110mph in a 55 coming back from Athens, Ga in my friends car (Camry I4). I saw the cop they were hiding in a ditch. I was so pissed I started to get loose and slowed the car down and pulled over.
The cop was like do you know why I pulled you over? I was like yes speeding. He took my license and friends registration checked it and he was laughing in his car. I thought this was is it Im going to jail. He said he wasn't going to give me a ticket cause he would have to take me to jail cause I was 16 at the time.
He asked me If I went to church and just gave me a long speech and told me to drive safely home. He was the coolest cop ever couldnt have handled that situation any better.

About a week ago I let my girlfriends brother who is an unlicensed, convicted car thief take my car out for a spin while he chauffered me and her around in the back. We were heading back to their house when I see a cop pass us going the other direction I was like oh ****. All of a sudden he is behind us and im like oh **** oh ****, then a few seconds later he pulls us over and he says we have no headlights on (I think it was BS). Anyhoo, her brother says that he has no license and I told him I let him drive becasue I was drinking and figured it was the best choice. So I get out and he gives me a breathalyzer test and I blew a 0.00000000000, so he said your fine to drive. He took my registration and license and all that ****, then said he had to impound my car for 90 days. I drive 1/2 hour to school every day so I was like oh **** im skrewed, but then he says I am going to let you off this time because you are 10-10 (totally clean), but don't let him drive again. It was like he drove his car on my chest when he told me he was gonna impound it, then drove it back off when he said i was getting a warning.
To top it all off, I dropped a lighter and the remote for my stereo on the ground under some leaves when I got out of hte back seat and got the cop to lend me his flashlight to find it hehehe it was great fun, and I learned my lesson too, no one ever touches my car again.

A couple of friends of mine were racing down a street known to be patroled heavily by the sheriff's. They were doing around 110 in a 45. The cop was sitting in a church and the second they passed him, he flipped on his lights and they knew they were busted so they just pulled over and waited. The cop comes and says "do you know why i pulled you over?" My friend goes yeah we were racing. The cop says who was winning? My friend goes I was. So then the cop goes I think your friend was ahead by a nose. Keep your speed down and have a nice day.
I wish I got cool cops like that when I got pulled over.

Now if it were my brother who is a county cop here in illinois it would have been a lil different LoL and this is true. He pulled our mother over and gave her a ticket for i dont remember i think speeding LOL yes his mom. and after wards told her that hed be home for dinner later that night funny huh... anyways it turned into a joke as my mom faught the ticket on purpose and my brother did not show up as our mom ordered him not to show up. eather way the judge is a family friend and would have let her go anyways wether she was right or wrong. And please dont say its an asshole thing for my bro to do cause my family is just like that we are all lazy and have nothing else better to do. Hell I almost took the squad car to the local high school football game to scare a bunch of my classmates lol... But what ya all think of that.
