A buddy of mine got pulled over doing 65 in a 35 and the cop was more interested in his car than anything else. Just a warning and a few comments about his car.

That type of sh!t never happens to me though. I usually get the ticket

lol, yea, i have had similar things happen to me, only where my dad is the police commissioner i never get tickets but this one time, we were up in the state park and i was pulling people behind my truck on a sled (like on jackass) and this forest ranger pulls up. well at first he didnt notice the person on the sled behind my truck (go figure?) and asked me how i was and stuff, but as he was pulling off he noticed, and asked me to pull to the side. I was like OH ****, i am ****ing going to jail, lol. as he walked up to my truck he grabbed the sled out of my friends hand and said, now take me for a ride, i was like, ok, so i jumped in my truck and took him for a ride around the bend. when we got back to where i left my friends he was like, ok guys you need to stop so that i dont get any complaints, but its a fun ride! coolest ranger ever

Best yet is 137 in a 30.

Next door neighbor was the police cheif. The young cops thought their new cruiser could keep up with anything. He wanted them to use the radios and not the gas. He wanted them to run the plates and wait for the kids near their home an bust them. He "ASKED" us to see if they would chase us and pay for the gas. My freind dad owned a salavage yard and a frame shop that did all the work for the police department wreaked cars. We new exactly what their car would do, how fast, how and when they lost it, etc. They chased us for about a month and never got close to catching us. We had all the best parts and motor from the salavage yard plus plenty of good trade parts we borrowed from the yard so the car flew.

After they got gripped out at their weekly meetings for trying to chase two 16 year old and not even coming close to ever catching us they finally learned to us the radio.

They called in on us doing 137 in a 30. my neighbor, the police cheif said we were probably just on an errand for their dad and don't pull them over if they are "JUST SPEEDING"

The only problem was my Mom and Dad listen to the Police scanner and heard it all. They made us promise to stay under 100mph over the legal limit.

One time when me an a bunch of my frieds were sitting in a parking lot, a cop rolled through and asked us if we had seen any naked girls that came through here. We naturally said no, then he says "Well, what are you waiting for, go out and find some.

Something similiar happen to me......I was at a friends house and he had a few ppl over....anyway someone called the cops because we were to loud....so when the cops got there......I had a view people in my truck playing the playstation....so the cop was telling us that we need to keep it down and stuff....and he happen to look over there where my truck was and he seen the screen turned on through the back glass.....so he was like....who is that truck for??? and i told him it was mine.....so he started telling me that its illegal to have that in there if its in the drivers view and a bunch of $hit like that.....after that he walked over there....and was pretty amazed that I had a playstation 2 in there....so he got in there and started to play it.......the funniest part to me was when he asked what was the name of the game.....and my friend goes......"Its grand Theft Auto....You get to shoot cops on this game".......That just made the night there....lol

Similar story, but i got pulled over in the middle of my town about 5 oclock rush hour with my windows down and the stereo pretty looud. The Cop pulled me over to give me a sound warning, no big deal, but he told me that he always enjoyed stereo systems and wanted to see my set up in my trunk. The only problem with this was that I had 2 cases of beer back there and i was only 18. After a couple minutes of insisting that I was really in a hurry and sorry about the noise, he let me go without making me open the trunk. I was pretty suspicious, but he didnt mind.

That is the funniest thing I've ever read on a car audio site! I'm sitting here at work and barely kept from busting out laughing.

Tex, thought so, I live in Shepherdsville now, off of Beech Grove Road, and the cops are pretty nutty. Funny thing is if you can make it past the waffle house without getting the cops out of their seat your pretty much in the clear. I didn't know we had a sound law here. Guess I have just been lucky so far. Anyway, what did you have in there that had the cops lookin at you.

I got stopped when I had an 87 Pontiac Sunbird with 1 HCCA 12 in the trunk. The cop said he could feel his floorboard moving when he was behind me so I said "I doubt it was me, I only have one 12 in the trunk" and I had my back seat out so he looked in the car and saw the box, sure enough, for 1 12. He just said "Well, there were other cars driving by so I can't prove it was you, just keep it down". The irony of it all, the week before I had 2 15's in a half wall, if he woulda seen that it woulda been an instant ticket.

I actually REALLY have amazing respect for some cops. Story: I let my unliscenced g/f drive. She backed my car into a parked truck. We flee the scene. Get caught. Cop see's my car and starts laughing. I had $1500 damage, the truck have a broken taillight that was $20. He said he felt so sorry for me that he'd forget it happened as long as I paid that other guy back. Now realized I could have had like 5 charges and he let me go. That was wicked and I'm glad it only cost me $1500.
