I guess it is supposed to piss someone off when during the night, someone decides to take the stuff out of and off of your vehicle, apparently because they want it more than you do. They did this the second night I was in the city that I JUST moved to. I hope that they like the equipment and the rest of my car. It has been 5 weeks now, and I was under investigation because the claim was worth more than the vehicle itself. I was paying insurance like the next guy, but they think I was not paying enough insurance. Finally, yesterday I got the call saying that they had called and started repairing my car. I have been out a car for 5 weeks people. My policy does not include car rental. A friend of mine lended me his Corvette just recently to drive to and from work. Two days after he gives me the keys, came a most bizarre occurance. Where I work is just on the other side of a rather visual impeding hill. I pull out just before in my periphery, I notice a rather large truck going way the hell too fast in the lane I was just crossing. I was forced to gun the Vette, which then kicked back the pedal at me with an anti wheel spin function. This feature kicked the car sideways and I was then forced to pull it to 2nd gear to get the car under a lower RPM to try and control it. As soon as I got 2nd gear engaged, It swapped ends with a fairly violent sputter as again it kicked the pedal back in my face. Yes, I avoided the truck, thanks for asking! Yes, that bastard surely saw every bit of it and he just kept going. Yes, I hit the center guard rail with this beautiful Corvette that I did not own, and it spun around and tagged the rear right rim and took a chunk out of it. What a warm welcome to this beautiful city. All this not even mentioning the fact that when I finally got an apartment, that the first night it rained, the living room ceiling sagged down and forced me to put the old "bucket" beneath it.
