Here's my story: There were 2 double point USAC Outlaw SPL shows in the same weekend that I decided to attend. I have a trailered SPL vehicle, and a slightly too small trailer. On my way to the first show that famed weekend, I came across some road construction. Let me tell yall, when those signs say slow down, SLOW DOWN. I didn't heed to the warning and proceeded to be thrown around a couple lanes of light traffic trying to get the trailer under control, after much struggling I regained control and continued on my merry way. That was all the excitement for that day. After the show, I decided to attend a friends graduation party. I did not plan on staying let alone getting drunk. Needless to say I did not make it home that night, and I had to be at the next show by 9am. After a restful 2 hours of sleep I was back on the road. Nothing eventful happened until I pulled into the parking lot at the show, I was told where to park and while I was pulling away, my tie down straps snapped causing my car to roll off the trailer. This wouldn't have been so bad if the car would completely fallen off the trailer, but it just had to get about half way off. It ruptured the fuel line causing gas to spill all over the exhaust. I was not about to drive all the way back home and waste all that gas, so I decided to compete. I pushed my car into the lane and attempted to do my runs. My first run, hit the burp button...nothing, I just could not win. It turned out that the button was shorting out so I had to hurry my ass, unplug a bunch of RCAs, and bypass the button. I ended up hitting an average 156.5. Pretty good with no voltage and a huge hangover.
This is just one story in the list of many that I have endured in my competition career.

That ****s. Little story of mine. I was with a buddy of mine follow his truck that was getting trailered down to USAC finals. We were behind the truck and trailer and we have a car following us.
All was going pretty good. Till the guy doing the towing decides to change lanes. Well he it was VERY dark and he could not see the sizeable height difference in the next lane cause of paving work. It had to been a good few inches. A car or truck alone could deal with it. But not a truck trailering a 7000+ vehicle and system. Well I dont know what kept that trailer attached to the truck and the truck on that trailer. but I swear it went next to the truck.
I about **** and my buddy whos truck was on that trailer about had a heart attack.
