I had just cleaned the spray foam off my door lock hinges in the db drag car (with acetone) and a friend decided he was going to fill in the frame for the windows.
Well he did some welding while I was upfront and when I walked back to the shop i saw 3 foot flames coming out the top of the door. He had walked away from the car and slag dripped into the door and poof. Acetone burns quick and it was out before anything got damaged and before I made it over the with the fire ext. Wish I had my camera for the fire and the look on the guys face.

I had problems with the expanding foam catching on fire when I was working on my first car. The guy that was helping me decided to fill the doors with foam while I was at lunch when I got back to finish welding the window frams in I got quite a suprise when the foam started burning in side the door.

You must have really dumped the acetone on there for it to still be wet enough to ignite. Acetone evaporates so rapidly, you'd have to have a puddle for it to catch really. Or a rag still wet with it, which I've also ignited in the past while welding. hehe
