Alright.. as a disclaimer before I start No, this is NOT how things normally run in the bay at work
One night, during the xmas season (typically do anywhere from 30-50 cars a day)we had a 1996 accord droppped off in the morning. We had four installers working that day, 2 inside, 2 outside sometimes.. sometimes just 2 people wrking on kits and harnesses and 2 popping dashes and putting decks in. ANYHOW.. guy comes back in that night to pick up his Accord.. I finish up all the paperwork, and ask Keith if he did the car.. Keith says yeah, went fine, and I ring the guy out. I pull another car out of the bay, and as Im walking back in, the guy walks up to me, kind of puzzled looking. Me: "whats up?" Him: "..They....They didnt install it"
So we go back in, figure out that Keith installed in a 97 Accord and got them confused. The guy still had a factory deck in his car. He was very cool about it, and came back the next day and we put it in for free.
We got to talking about it the next day, and he had a cd IN the car, ready to play.. I can just see the look on his face and what he was thinking "ALRIGHT.. ready to listen to this cd.. hmm.. wont fit in the slot.. cause its a TAPE DECK!"
Okay, you HAD to be there.. but it was funny, I swear

I think even the most hardened customer would have been hard pushed not to have seen the funny side of that. Colin
