One kid at my high school who always makes up stupid stuff said the funniest thing ever not too long ago. He was telling me about his new system, consisting of three 10" HE2's in a ported box and a Sony Xplod amp (can't remember the power).
Anyways he went on to explain that he had hit 166dB on the dash (shattering his old record of 155dB with two 12" RF Punch subs with 360 watts ) because he was running his amp at negative one ohm. It was all I could do to keep a straight face. First of all, there is no place in our area that you can even access an SPL mic any day like that, and second, negative one ohm? I'm still laughing about it.
Thought I'd share... Eric
