i had offered to install an amp & sub in my new girlfriends brand new car. when i took out the cd player to hook up the rca's, i didn't realize the ignition was on and accidentally burnt out her new deck. i lent her a spare deck i had lying around and told her i would buy a new one. after spending around 2-3hrs putting the subs and amp in, the stereo would not work. she was getting pretty pissed by now and i finally realized the ground wasn't good. i got it to work, but then realized the new amp she bought (store return) had 1 blown channel. god i felt dumb! she is probley thinking "what a moron, i should have had the shop install it". so to top things off, after finally hooking everything up (i hooked both subs off 1 channel) we went for a test drive and i drove. when we got back, i pulled her car into my garage and drove a little too close to my table saw. i left a huge scratch from one end of her car to the other. talk about feeling like a dumb ass! ohh well, we broke up a few weeks later (for other reasons).

ur tag as in z-24 the car? what year? i have an 88 z-24. i know pretty much everything on these cars. oh yea, this happened a couple of years ago when i first got started in car audio. i think her car is bad luck though... or maby it just wasn't ment to be. girls cost to much anyways, better off sinking money into a solid investment, like subwoofers!

If you've ever seen the movie "Private Parts" about Howard Stern, you can really realize what a solid investment a subwoofer can be.......hehehehehe
