A couple month ago, my car was broken into, in broad daylight: the passenger quarter window forced open and evidently equipment gone missing... That is an aluminium/carbon fiber gearknob and an anodised door lock. The whole worth about 50$. Probably some blind or impatient no gooder who possibly did not spot some of the other stealth mounted goodies worth at least a hundred times more. Or is it maybe because most of the audio equipment is either welded to the chassis or secured with anti tamper nuts and bolts? Sometimes you can be lucky...

James, im glad to hear you got lucky and only lost about 50 bux worth of stuff. I happened to be on the unlucky streak. Over the weekend someone broke into my garage and stole 2 head units, some RCA cables, wire cutters, a TV/VCR combo, and about 40 bux worth of cash. All worth about 1300 bucks retail. Well, guess i need to stiffen up the security around here. Hope you can continue the good luck.
