I have a friend that I goto college with... anyways he is a newbie to car audio so he thinks that "Baja" amps are good enough for him.... so anyways, he goes to UBID.com and bids on one.. he wins a 600 watt baja amp for 100 dollars... he gets an email within 24 hours saying there was a problem, they are all out of 600 WATT baja amps- but yet he has won the auction so he HAS to get an amp... so in replacement they offer him another amp, a Rockford Fosgate G800A2- for the same price... he is like "Man, i wanted that flickin baja amp, i am gonna email them and say that i don't want the Rockford amp" and i say "U MORON! I WILL BUY THAT AMP OFF YOU!" so he agrees, but he charges me 20 bucks extra- the man has to make a buck somehow :0) so the total for the amp came to $130 and then he charged 20 extra giving me the amp for 150 :0) good deal hey? 1014 total watts for 150 dollars that is roughly 6 centss per watt... not too bad :0)

even though it may be wrong to take advantage of stupid people that shouldn't stop you should this type of opportunity ever come up again. In a few years when he gets a clue he will be kicking himself for that deal.

the baja will probably get hotter and make it easier to cook a steak on, althought i love the lines the Rockfords leave on a steak.

note: i am NOT dissing RF amp.

Rockford Fosgate - Crossfire - AT Shocker II

2 10's + 1000 watts + sealed box = 144.5 legal
