Well I have this problem, I found a little critter in my 77 Cougar. Everytime I take the kitten out of the cougar's engine compartment, next day I find it in the compartment again or its tucked up on top of the wheel. Oh well I guess kittens love the Big Cat's

how'd you find it in the engine compartment anyway? You check daily before starting the car or something?

Just start the beast one day, and let the little kitten learn the lesson the hard way. It won't crawl up there again, trust me. hehe

(i can see the ASPCA and PETA calling me now!)

I heard the cat cuz it was meowing. I looked everywhere, so I popped the hood open and there it was on the header...man, if i started it would burn its butt. But the reason I wouldn't want to start it is because my dad did that with his chevelle. one night he drove home and left is chevelle outside once. Next morning, he started his car and heard this weird noise. He turned off the engine and popped the hood. There was a cat that had its paw stuck in the pulley of the alternator and it took him awhile to get it out. And I really dont want to go thru with something else that.

Kind of reminds me ok that cartoon where the dog tries to convince porky pig that he needs a dog, and porky can't get rid of him.
Maybe the cat wants a owner.

hehe, next time that cat is under the hood, start up the motor. If that cat does it again, then cage it,drive 30 miles away, and dump him or put him in a animal shelter. its the only way to keep him from death
