Well started off with plans to go to my mom's work BBQ. The drive was a while so I decided to quickly wire up a ported XTR 10 and a EQ power 200x (which I love dearly) into the van so we could have some nice bass and whatnot. So I got the sub in the van fine and wired up to the amp. I had the rear woofer leads ready to be connected to the high in on the amp, and I had my battery. I was just aboot to connect the amp to the battery when this dude pulls up and asks me for directions... He totally throws me out of whack, concentration is gone now. So I finish talking to him and I absent mindedly proceed to attach the + from the amp to the - on the battery and the - on the amp to the positive on the battery, and well fried it... =( I don't know why the fuse didn't protect it, it is correctly rated. With EarthQuake fix this thing if I send it to them?
In other news, at the same BBQ this same day, my mother in the mother load of all brain farts backs up our van with the passenger door open. She then proceeds to strike a giant concrete block with the door, bending it all to hell and making it impossible to close and it is all gibbled. So I rode home amongst a web of bungy cords and rope holding the door on the side of the car.... lol
and on the last note, while driving a 3-wheel ATV I got stuck in a large mud puddle and then it stalled... Which sucked, but it all worked out.
That was my day, hope you enjoyed it more than I did
