Damn, iv'e seen it and i do not know how this guy is able to wisthand that...
Imagine a guy hitting 155 dB in his truck, and not only he was inside the truck, but he 's not wearing any protection at all, not even a small pair of earplugs... Or it's plain normal...
Damn, i love the bass, but as far as i know, you must be able to hear something to enjoy it.... Well i guess that some people love low tones too much...

Sitting in it at 155??? That's nothing. At a show this past Sunday a guy sat in Larry Benton's truck as he hit a 167.5db. No ear plugs no nothing. KIDS DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!!!!!

heh, at the db drags here a couple weekends ago RF had a van with 12 15's in it (i think, acefosg8, am i right?) hittin 157db. The guy stayed in it while gettin metered, then there was this guy in the crowd who sat in it for a couple minutes with the doors open.......
An old friend of mine put his head in the window of a Firebird at the International Ctr. show in Toronto -- his ear was ACTUALLY bleeding. I have no idea what the system was metered at whatsoever....
sheeeeeeeesh... silly billy

last summer at the western slam jam finals here in Calgary, seen a guy hit 174db (i think, i know it was 170s fer sure) the guy was inside the truck, had all the ear protection on and stuff. hits the play button the tone comes up and all of a sudden hes freakin out inside screamin for them to shut it down. they interviewed the guy after for some magazine, and he said that he couldnt breath. the bass knocked the wind outta him. That was crazy bass

I had the opportunity to sit in Alma's Bronco at SBN a minute while 155 to the low 160s. I had ear protection, and it still knocked the breath out of me, well damn near. I did thoroughly enjoy it though. What I didn't enjoy, removing the knots from my waist length hair. That took 3 hours.

A friend of mine had a shop here and I sat in his truck with the door open, which outlawed at 164 and legaled at about 159. It was pretty hard to breathe in there.

Does Aces van hit 157? That seems a lil high, he lives in my town and the first time he met me he popped in a bass cd and had me set in the front seat, I HAD NO CLUE WHAT I WAS EXPECTING, the highest i had heard before that was like 145, I love how he has had to take like the dome light outta the van cuz it shakes it out and everything You shoulda seen the kids expression when we took the van through the hardees drive through one nite we weren't playing it loud but he just seen the 12 15's and his jaw dropped

I cant say it surprises me though people continously do stupid things to try and be daring. Piercing your body is a prime example....Hurt yourself for fun...i am not against piercing just figured i would point out the irony hehe
