I was on my way to Orlando for vacation this sunday..and BAM flat tire!!!

Ugh... my box and amp racks all cover up my spare!!! didn't think about that... had to take everything out on the side of the damn highway to get to my spare!! At least i still had the spare in though!!!

Then the lugnut wrench was messed (was starting to strip the bolts).. so i had to put everything back IN the car..lock it up..walk to the next exit.. luckily there was a discount auto parts right off the exit..bought another 4-way lug nut wrench..back to the car..take everything backout..YEAH!!!!

Just a minor inconvience though...could have been SO much worse..

Just thought i would share!!!!!

HaHa that sucks man.
When i design a custom box for a trunk i make sure the spare is accesabile or i move it and make a new place for it so that never happens.

hehe, that has happened to me before too, bad thing is it was raining, and since water doesn't mix with stereo equipment I had to wait till it stopped to change the tire, bad thing was it didn't stop till that night, so I had to change it the next morning and that caused me to be late for work, and the boss wasn't happy at all.

Fix a Flat doesn't work when you have a blowout! If you just have a plain ole flat then sure, but you blow a chunk out of your tire, or blow the sidewall, then you aren't fixing that with any can of fix a flat. heh

I usually remove my spare if I'll be filling the trunk with equipment, and then when I go anywhere more than my normal in town driving, I bag the tire and carry it in the back seat, or wherever I can.
