k, late last night i was chilling on irc on #caraudio on dalnet, and this dude comes in complaining how his stereo sounds so bad. note it was late at night so we decided to screw with him. one guy says are you sure your speaker fluid isnt low? and hes like i have speaker fluid? we told him that there was speaker fluid in the amp and it flowed out the RCA's and down the speaker wire. this guy BELIEVED it. we werent gonna ruin somethin so funny, so we kept this up for maybe half an hour and finally told him to go to a local shop to have it changed. we also told him to have his dilithium crystal realigned (another thing we made up) and we told him some other stuff too.. but you know. today he came back complaining that he went to 5 different audio stores (circuit city, good guys and 3 local places) and they didnt know what he was talking about... still after all this he STILL believes it. this is probably the funniest car audio related thing thats ever happened to me... you had to be there

That kind of reminds me of something. About 4 years ago I worked at a car wash. This one guy I worked with told a coworker that his bumper was leaking "bumper fluid" and he went out to his truck and stared at his rear bumper for about 10 min and then crawled underneath it and inspected the underside. Everyone was laughing so hard and when he came in everyone was like "you dumbarse! you believed him hahah" Kinda of stupid but funny that he went and actually looked haha.

that reminds me of something similar. A little while ago I was driving around with some friends in my car. The guy next to us looked like a hardass, so a few of them were looking at his car. The guy looked at us and started talking trash. So my friend just said something like "sorry budy I was just looking at your car and noticed you wer leaking blinker fluid, you should get that checked out right away" And the guy said Ok and left. He looked like he bought it though

Man, I think a few people need to oil their brains... BTW, for those in need of a speaker fluid change, if you're lookin' to go with synthetic, I've heard that Mobil 15W30 is the way to go. That, and an oil cooler to help the speakers last a big longer. Any advice about the filters for 'em though? They're a pain in the a$$... Hahahahahahaha!!!!!! Too many people out there are wasting perfectly good air that someone else could be breathing. He he.
