My grilfriend and I were at my house the other day and my car was running hot (260 deg) so I shut the car off and turned the radiator cap one notch so it could let the prssure out. Then we went in to my house a watched TV for about 10 min and as I was going back out to my car I told her "you had better kiss me before I get my face blown off" and she just laughed. I went back over to my car and was getting ready to take the cap and no sooner than I touched the cap blew off in my face and in my eyes, the next morning I got out bed and I could not open my eyes and the guys at work said it lloked like someone hit me in the face with a baseball bat so that is my little story thanks for reading

I had a similar experience lucky for me it was just my arm though, hehe, still though I got like 2nd degree burns from it, thing was it was just a hose that busted on mine, and when I opened the hood the stuff was spewing and nailed my arm, only works that come to mind at that time is well cant say them here, hehe, but you all know them.

Yeah man the pressure in those thing s can get real high. Ive seen radiator caps hit so hard you can see "remove slowly" pressed into the bonnet (ahh thats hood in america i think )
